Stationing ourselves in one location as we recover from the trek got me thinking about places we’ve called home since we hit the road nearly 8 months ago.
Our accommodations, loosely defined, have included everything from cars and buses, tents, dorms, and hammocks to friends’ and families' homes, B&Bs, guesthouses, motels, and hotels. Obviously, some are more comfortable than others, but each, in its own way, has its charm.
